1st - ‘Crafty kids’ afterschool craft session (1) for 6-14yrs, 4-5.30pm, $5pp, incl snacks. Must book !

- Time for Yarn - byo yarn project, 7.30pm, gold coin.
2nd - ‘Beanies not meanies’ project, social gathering anytime between 10am -3pm - Pot’o’soup lunch. Knit, chat and chew!
4th - Sat Quilt & Craft from 10am
5th - See you at the LIONS Autumn Market - plants, books, toys, lucky dips, and other ‘bibs & bobs’, showgrounds from 9am
7th - 'Tuesday treasures’ - 12noon -2pm - a range of preloved items from our cupboard clean out, $5 and under, may become your treasure - household goods, textiles, books, plants, etc.
- Beanies not Meanies project, social afternoon - chat and chew with afternoon tea provided.
9th - Hackerspace - all things electronic from 7.30pm, gold coin

Neighbourhood House week - including Lucky participant draw for all visitors! More details later

13th - Colour theme day wear the colours of the NHvic logo - blue or orange
14th - Sewing project 9.30-12noon
- Tuesday treasures - 12-2pm see what’s from our cupboards today, preloved items $5 and below
- Euchre - 7.30pm, supper to share - Mystery bag prize night
15th - Crafty Kids,$ 5pp, 4-5.30pm for kids 6-14yrs
-The Crafters Loop - car pool depart at 9.45am for visit to Mollybear designs, Dunkeld & SMB.
- Time for Yarn - 7.30pm byo yarn project - Pizza supper
16th - Last session for ‘Beanies not Meanies' project with soup lunch, between 10am - 3pm
18th - BBQ fundraiser at Coles 10am -2pm
- Laughter Yoga 9.30am at HIRL, followed by Morning tea at Lemon Myrtle
20th - Biggest Morning Tea - cuppa, chat and support the Cancer council- bring your favourite morning tea recipe - donations welcome
21st - Tuesday Treasures - preloved item $5 & below 12-2pm
23rd - 10.30 Volunteers morning tea - ours, yours or anyone that volunteers welcome

24th - Ballarat /Breastscreen trip
25th - HIRL Market, free childrens activities

Regular Activity Details

 

Art Group, every Wednesday 12 noon at the Guide Hall, Lonsdale St. $3 per person. We have paints, pastels, charcoals and some paper and some canvases but if you want to bring knitting or drawing or any form of art and craft you're working on, feel free. Everyone welcome, cuppa available and it is a small group of relaxed happy people, no teachers, no stress, but advice given if asked for. 

 

Quilting Quarters 

Enjoy a group setting and quilt at your own pace with your own project.

Wednesday 10.00am - 3.00pm

Cost $3.00 per session, some materials can be purchased

 

Saturday Quilt 'n' Craft

Wind down at the end of the week with a leisurely quilt and/or craft session. BYO projects and lunch, Beginners welcome. T/C provided.

Dates - 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from February through to December.

Cost $3 per session

 

Community Shed

Woodwork equipment and tools available to assist you in making a project item eg. garden seat, bookcase, chopping board etc.

Dates - Every Tuesday 10am - 3.30pm and Thursday from 1pm - 3.30pm.

Venue: Community Shed, behind HCH

Cost $2.50 per session

 

Euchre Card nights 

Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 7.30pm

Cost $3.00 per person, please bring supper to share

 

Community Volunteers

Each Tuesday morning between 10am and 12 noon, be involved in a voluntary community service for other community organisations and groups. Morning tea provided

 

Community Lunch

The Community House usually has a luncheon on the last Monday of each month. A two course meal is available for $5.00 per person.

Bookings are essential

 

Line dancing

Get your feet tapping and your boots scooting at our weekly line dancing classes.

Tuesday 9.30am - 12 noon except during school holidays.

Beginners and children's classes also offered.

Community members are welcome to discuss becoming a registered volunteer with Debra.

 

Please note, classes will not proceed if there are insufficient numbers. Fees will be refunded in full if HCH cancels a course. There will be no refunds after a course has commenced.
